I knew I would somehow end up taking up their course months ago. We plant our own coffee and intend to promote Zambales as a coffee producer. What was called a "Beginner" course ended up as an eye-opening 8 day (I couldn't make the first day) journey. Arnold was very knowledgeable and had the patience to teach the young and old (I consider myself part of the old). I hope that students pursue advancements. Me? I'm already happy with what I achieved and aim to get an NCII certificate (and TM) and then work on improving our own product, and then teach the locals of Botolan, Zambales what was passed on to me.
Im part of the 4th batch of Barista 101 class.. You would wonder how will everything fit in 9 days of training, but by the Grace of God and the efficient and practical teaching, not to mention their patience and understanding, of Ms. Soo Hee Jang and Mr. Arnold Cahibaybayan, a beginner (who has no experience at all) like me learned the art and science of making the best coffee.. After the class I learned more than I expected, I gained new friends, and I now have a deeper understanding and appreciation for coffee.. Im now waiting for their Master Class to open, im that excited! Thank you Cooko!
